The Robertson Trust was established in 1961 by the three Robertson sisters to provide financial support for charities as defined by the Law of Scotland. This funding enables the Trust to donate to a wide range of charitable objects and activities, which take place in, or have a direct impact on Scotland. In 2012/3 the Trust committed over £15M to charities throughout Scotland, an increase of 25% on the previous year.
SportsAid Scotland changed its name from Scottish Sports Aid at the start of 2014. It is a charity that provides financial assistance in the form of grant awards to talented sporting youngsters in the 12 to 22 year age range and to disability athletes to age 45 who are already competing at national level in their age group and have the potential to represent Scotland at senior level. The finance given is to help the athletes with their travel and training costs, and will hopefully assist them in becoming Scotland’s future sporting stars.
Founders Joe, Dave and Ed were inspired to create pack tunch bars by their own busy lifestyles.
Always busy, the brothers wanted something nutritious and delicious they could eat on the go.
Frustrated by the lack of good alternatives on the market Joe and his brothers decided to make their own. After nine long months of trial and error the pack tunch we know and love was born.
Then came along the question of the name. Lots of people look at the name and find it a little bit odd but actually just like Tunch it’s relatively simple. A meal between breakfast and lunch is brunch, a meal between lunch and tea is Tunch.
